About Amy Johnson

Amy was born in Seoul, South Korea and adopted as an infant. She was raised in the Kansas City area, surrounded by loving family and friends. Currently, she enjoys life split between Kansas City, MO and Anchorage, AK. She is a loving dog mom to an active Chug (chihuahua/pug), adopted from a rescue several years ago. She spends free time doing volunteer work with the homeless in Kansas city with Team Hope KC, where she has long served as the volunteer director. She also enjoys participating in running events throughout the country with her biggest accomplishment being the Chicago Marathon in 2017. Finally, Amy spends time doing healthcare access advocacy work, attending Korean school to become fluent in a second language and if there is any downtime left, you can find her doing crochet and knitting.
